The Capybara Cafe is owned and operated by Noah's Ark Sanctuary, a nonprofit sanctuary dedicated to animal rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation education.
From a Home Rescue to a Sanctuary
As lifelong animal lovers with a deep commitment to conservation, our journey began with a modest effort to provide rehabilitation and rescue services from our home. With a dream to create a sanctuary where animals could receive the care they need, we quickly outgrew our initial space.
This led us to purchase a property and officially establish Noah's Ark Sanctuary, a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. Today, Noah's Ark Sanctuary houses over 100 animals, with a focus on native wildlife species such as foxes, skunks, squirrels, opossums, and raccoons. We also welcome exotic pet surrenders, ensuring they have a safe environment and proper care.
The idea for The Capybara Cafe came from our desire to bring conservation awareness to the community in a direct, engaging way. We believe real interactions with animals are key to building understanding and respect for wildlife. Our cafe now serves as an educational hub where guests can meet our animal ambassadors and learn about wildlife conservation firsthand.
